The first set of KPop Demon Hunters dolls from Mattel is now available for pre-order. Mattel was previously selected by Netflix, along with Hasbro, for a master toy partnership to create a full portfolio of toys, collectibles, games, role-play products, and more inspired by the hit animated film. While many of these products won't officially hit store shelves until next year, Mattel is already taking pre-orders for its 3-pack set of HUNTR/X dolls.
Mattel's "HUNTR/X Rumi, Mira, Zoey “What It Sounds Like” 3-Pack" became available for pre-order this week, and after briefly selling out, it's now in stock again. Unfortunately, the price -- a jaw-dropping $150 for the set -- may cause a bit of sticker shock for many.
The initial wave of pre-orders had the dolls releasing in October 2026, but now it says December 2026. It can be assumed that if you were able to pre-order one of the sets during the initial phase, you'll get yours earlier.
While I, along with many others, thought this doll set would be something designed for children to play with, the price tag suggests others. With the pre-order page going live, we now have the official details for the highly anticipated product, which seems geared more towards collectors than actual kids. Mattel admits as much in the product description.
HUNTR/X brings their iconic style to Mattel in this 3-doll set. Looking sen-slay-tional in outfits from their final performance in KPop Demon Hunters, these HUNTR/X heroines are ready to give their fans the concert of a lifetime. Lead singer Rumi’s look shows off the patterns that mark her skin, with Mira and Zoey beside her in complementary styles.

The website notes that the colors and decorations may vary from what is seen in the product page, but it does look like they've at least locked in the look of these collectible dolls.
It's a bit unfortunate that this first set is made for collectors instead of the kids who helped make this movie popular, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time until we get some more affordable dolls that kids can actually play with. Until then, if you're interested in purchasing, "HUNTR/X Rumi, Mira, Zoey “What It Sounds Like” 3-Pack" is available right now for pre-order on the Mattel Creations website. The website limits purchases to three per customer.
In other news, Netflix and Sony have now officially finalized a deal for a sequel to KPop Demon Hunters, but the highly anticipated follow-up isn't expected to be released until 2029.
