Disney Lorcana Collector Boosters Will Cost $34.99 Per Pack — And Around $420 Per Box

Disney Lorcana’s Collector Boosters arrive with Into the Inkdark in 2027, priced at $34.99 per pack and offering exclusive serialized cards limited to 23 copies each.

At D23 a few months ago, Ravensburger revealed plans to lean further into the collecting side of Disney Lorcana. While the game has plenty to offer players, collecting has also become a big part of Lorcana’s appeal, too. With beloved Disney characters and gorgeous artwork, it’s easy to see why fans chase some of the game’s rarest cards, myself included.

Now, we know what that premium collecting experience will cost, and it won't be cheap. Collector Boosters will debut alongside Into the Inkdark in 2027 with a suggested retail price of $34.99 per pack, or around $420 for a display box containing 12 packs.

As the name suggests, these are premium packs aimed at collectors. They won’t replace standard booster packs, so you can continue enjoying the game without buying into the more expensive format.

Each Collector Booster contains 12 randomized premium foil cards. Cards ranging from Common to Epic receive a new foil treatment, while Enchanted and Iconic cards feature the same versions available in standard packs, but appear at higher odds.

The biggest draw though is Illustrious Cards, which can only be found in Collector Boosters, not regular boosters. These are Disney Lorcana’s first serialized cards, featuring bespoke artwork that lets notable artists put their own spin on familiar characters. The artist credit is more prominent, and each card carries an individual serial number identifying its place in an extremely limited run.

Into the Inkdark will feature six different Illustrious cards, with only 23 copies of each printed — a nod to 1923, the year the Walt Disney Company was founded. Doing some quick maht, that means just 138 Illustrious cards across the entire release.

Keep in mind, these pack and box prices are suggested retail prices. What collectors actually end up paying could look very different if demand outpaces supply. Pokémon operates on another level when it comes to collecting, but Disney Lorcana has already shown it can generate plenty of excitement around limited releases.

After seeing the crowds surrounding the Curator’s Collection: Heroines Edition, I wouldn’t be surprised to see resellers target these, too. Whether they can command inflated prices will depend on how much stock is available and how many collectors are willing to pay.

The format will sound familiar to Magic: The Gathering fans. Magic already offers Collector Boosters built around foil cards, alternate artwork, special treatments, and, in select releases, exclusive serialized cards. Its Ravnica Remastered release, for example, reserved serialized cards for Collector Boosters. Lorcana is taking a similar approach by giving collectors a premium pack with its own exclusive chase.

That doesn’t mean a $35 pack guarantees a valuable pull, though. Better odds of finding an Enchanted or Iconic card still leave plenty to chance. With only 138 Illustrious cards across the release, I’d treat one as a lucky surprise rather than expect a pack to pay for itself.

Collector Boosters will be available in limited quantities through select Ravensburger Play Hub stores, the Ravensburger online store, and select Disney locations. They’ll also be released exclusively in English worldwide.

As for the expansion itself, Into the Inkdark puts Disney’s villains in the spotlight, with a Hades glimmer plotting beneath the realm of Lorcana. The set’s prerelease is scheduled for February 5, 2027, followed by its general release on February 12.
