After numerous delays, The Mitchells vs The Machines has finally arrived on Netflix today. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller's CG-animated was previously called "Connected," but was renamed when Netflix purchased the film from Sony Pictures. But the premise and everything else stayed the same.
The Mitchells vs The Machines is an animated comedy about a quirky and dysfunctional family who embark on a road trip hoping to bond as a family for one last time before their older daughter heads off to college. I won't spoil it because it's definitely worth watching for a glimpse of the type of humor you can expect to see when you watch The Mitchells vs The Machines.
