Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous debuted on Netflix just last month and already the streaming service is teasing its second season. While Season 2 won't arrive until 2021, Netflix released the first teaser for the DreamWorks CG animated series.
The teaser promises a new season of survival as it continues the adventures of six teens who were invited to attend a state-of-the-art adventure camp in Isla Nublar, only to have their vacation interrupted when the dinosaurs break out of captivity. The first season, which was comprised of eight episodes, chronicled how the campers worked together for survival and progressed from friends to family.
While Netflix didn't share any specific details, the sophomore season will presumably pick up where the first ended and continue to explore this close-knit group of teens. And, of course, you can expect even more intense, heart-pounding dino moments.
Without getting to spoilers, Season 1 did end with a very hopeful cliffhanger that I'm sure many fans are hoping to have resolved when Season 2 picks back up. Unfortunately, we'll be waiting a while as the second season isn't set to debut until 2021.
Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous is executive produced by Steven Spielberg (Jurassic Park) along with industry legend Frank Marshall and Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow. Season 1 is currently streaming on Netflix.
