Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, the scribes that wrote Marvel Studios' iconic Iron Man movie, have been tapped by Sony to rewrite the script for Masters of the Universe: the upcoming live action He-Man movie.
As reported by Collider, Art Marcum and Matt Holloway have been appointed as the new scribes for Masters of the Universe and will be replacing The Dark Knight writer David Goyer and directors Aaron and Adam Nee — who had been working on the project until recently — with Goyer still attached to the project as a producer.
Marcum and Holloway's most recent work includes writing the script for Sony's upcoming Men in Black: International; having also worked in Marvel Studios' Iron Man, Transformers: The Last Knight, and Punisher: Warzone.
Masters of the Universe has been in development for quite some time, and now that Sony has hired new scribes to rewrite the script means it'll still be a long time before the movie begins production — or it even releases — so we'll have to keep waiting for more official announcements for Sony's Masters of the Universe.
