It is no secret that Kevin Smith and Mark Hammil have been working on a new Masters of the Universe project for some time. When we had spoken to Alan Oppenheimer, the original voice of Skeletor, in early 2020, he revealed that although he wasn't asked to reprise his villainous role, he did work with Mark Hammil a bit to discuss how his successor could bring the classic character to life.
That means that the new Netflix animation has been in production for quite some time. Fans will be glad to know that the streaming service will finally be giving viewers another chance to visit Eternia this month with the release of Masters of the Universe: Revelation Part I.
Netflix has released a new action-packed trailer to whet the appetites of those chomping at the bit for new He-Man content. You can check it out below, along with the synopsis for the animated sequel.
