First HE-MAN AND THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE CG Series Trailer Has Hit

A new He-Man and the Masters of the Universe CG animated series is due to hit Netflix next month and we have the first official trailer!

Netflix has released the first trailer for their CG animated reboot of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Unlike Kevin Smith's recent Masters of the Universe: Revelation, which premiered on Netflix last month, the new He-Man series seems to be aimed at a younger audience.In the trailer we see many familiar faces, but they only bare a passing resemblance to the original characters from the '80s animated series... For all intents and purposes it looks to be a complete reboot/re-imagining of the series.

The He-Man and the Masters of the Universe voice cast includes Yuri Lowenthal (He-Man), David Kaye (Cringer/Battle Cat), Grey Griffin (Evelyn/Evil-Lyn), Antony Del Rio (Duncan/Man-at-Arms), Kimberly Brooks (Teela/Eldress/Sorceress), Trevor Devall (R’Qazz/Beast Man), Judy Alice Lee (Krass/Ram Ma’am), Roger Craig Smith (Kronis/Trap-Jaw/General Dolos), Fred Tatasciore (King Randor/Baddrah), Ben Diskin (Skeletor/Prince Keldor), Tom Kenny (Ork-0/RK Units), Max Mitchell (Kitty)and Max Stubington (Young Adam).

The new series has several Masters of the Universe: Revelation alumn on board, including  Adam Bonnett, Christopher Keenan, and Rob David as executive producers and Susan Corbin who is serving as producer. Jeff Matsuda (The Batman, TMNT) is co-executive producer. Bryan Q Miller (Arrow, Smallville, Sleepy Hollow) is the story editor. Writers include Heath Corson, Amanda Deibert, Keely MacDonald, Peter Binswanger, Lila Scott, Matt Drdek, Julie Benson, Shawna Benson.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is produced by Mattel Television and animated by House of Cool (Trollhunters) and CGCG (Star Wars: The Clone Wars).
