Peter Pan & Wendy is an upcoming, live-action remake of Disney's classic animated film from 1953. Back in January, it was reported that production will kick off in Canada on April 17th — more on that here. David Lowery (Pete's Dragon) is attached to direct along with Toby Halbrooks.

Shortly after that initial report came a couple which claimed that Disney is eyeing Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey) to play Tinker Bell and Academy Award-winning actor Joaquin Phoenix (Joker) to play the villainous Captain Hook — find out more on that here.

While those roles haven't yet been officially cast, the titular ones have. Variety reports that Alexander Molony will play Peter Pan and Ever Anderson will play Wendy. Anderson is the daughter of Milla Jovovich and director Paul W. S. Anderson. She will be playing a younger version of the titular Natasha Romanoff in Marvel's Black Widow.

Meanwhile, Molony is more or less a newcomer — having mostly acted on stage. He hails from New Zealand and serves as the voice of the titular character in Disney Channel's Claude. You can see both of the young actors below — Molony on the left and Anderson on the right.
