Bo Peep was absent from Toy Story 3 and thus the original plan for its sequel was for Buzz, Woody, and the gang to search for her -  similar to the plot of Toy Story 2 in which Woody was kidnapped.

Annie Potts, the voice of the character, had teased her involvement in the fourth instalment - even discussing the planned story - before its production was revamped and restarted. As Bo Peep was absent from the recent teaser trailers, many assumed that she and the original story were gone for good.

However, this might not be the case; Pixar recently sent out their 2018 holiday card. The cover of said Christmas greeting sees Woody and Bo riding through the snow in a sleigh towed by Bullseye. This seems to suggest that Peep isn't as retired as we've been led to believe.

Check out the card below:

What do you think of the card? Would you like to see Bo Peep show up in Toy Story 4? Are you looking forward to the sequel?

Toy Story 4 is set to arrive in theatres on June 21st, 2019.
