Pomni and the rest of the The Amazing Digital Circus cast are trading one strange world for another. Devsisters has revealed a crossover between the Glitch Productions series and its mobile game Cookie Run: Kingdom, and every member of the circus has been redrawn as a Cookie for the occasion. The official Cookie Run: Kingdom YouTube channel has also released a trailer titled "The Amazing Digital Circus Comes to the Cookie Kingdom!"
The trailer opens with Caine doing what Caine does best, welcoming his "delectably crunchy digital cookies" to a new adventure. One of the cast nervously checks, "This isn't a horror adventure, is it?" which is a fair question for anyone who has watched the show. Take a look:
From A YouTube Pilot To A Cookie Kingdom
The Amazing Digital Circus was created by Gooseworx and premiered its pilot on YouTube in October 2023. It follows Pomni, who wakes up trapped inside a candy-colored virtual circus run by the AI ringmaster Caine, alongside Jax, Ragatha, Gangle, Zooble, and Kinger, a group of humans who have been stuck there far longer than any of them can remember. The bright cartoon look hides a lot of dread, and that clash between the visuals and the existential horror underneath is a big part of why the series blew up so fast.
Glitch Productions, which also makes Murder Drones and SMG4, has turned TADC into its flagship series. A crossover with a game as big as Cookie Run: Kingdom puts the characters in front of an audience that may never have watched an episode.
How The Cast Looks As Cookies
The collab key art fits the whole cast into Cookie Run's soft, rounded style. Pomni keeps her jester hat and mismatched eyes, Jax is as lanky and smug as ever, Ragatha still has her button eye and yarn-red hair, and Kinger is very much still a chess piece. Caine sits in the middle of it all with his oversized grin, surrounded by the floating shapes and odd faces that fill the Digital Circus.
The official Cookie Run: Kingdom account also posted a short clip of the digital Cookies arriving in the kingdom with their circus tent:
The tease started earlier this week (October 15th) with a "Coming Soon" image and a "LOADING NEW ADVENTURE" banner, and that first post alone has passed 50,000 likes and 3 million views on X.
When You Can Play It
It has been reported that the crossover arrives with the game's next update next week (October 21st), which matches the date the official account has given for its upcoming Crimson Moon story. It has also been reported that Pomni Cookie and Jax Cookie will be playable, with Ragatha, Gangle, Zooble, Kinger, and Caine appearing as guest characters. Devsisters has not shared the full event details yet. The circus will be sharing the spotlight, too, since the same update is expected to bring a new dragon-themed Cookie that the game has been teasing with a violet fruit glowing under the moonlight.
Cookie Run: Kingdom has been around since early 2021 and is free to play on iOS and Android. It has done major crossovers before, including one with BTS, but pulling in an indie animated web series is a new kind of move for it. Plenty of TADC fans have already said online that they are downloading the game for the first time just for the collab, while some longtime Cookie Run players are still trying to work out how a digital circus wandered into their kingdom.
Caine closes the trailer by wishing everyone luck as his "little superstars," which feels about right for a cast that never gets a break.
Which TADC character do you think makes the best Cookie, Pomni or Jax?
