Vivienne Medrano's Hazbin Hotel has made the jump from Prime Video to Fortnite. Charlie Morningstar, Alastor, and Vaggie arrived in the game's Item Shop last night (October 16th) as part of Epic Games' Fortnitemares 2026 Halloween event. The crossover also brings two songs from the show's first season into Fortnite Festival, so fans can play along to the music that made the series a hit.
Epic marked the occasion with a new trailer set to "Happy Day in Hell," Charlie's big number about opening her hotel to the lost souls of Hell. Check it out below:
Fortnite's official X account shared the trailer with a nod to Charlie's mission, writing "The misguided path to redemption includes a pitstop to Fortnitemares."
From YouTube Pilot To Fortnite Skin
The crossover is another milestone for a show that started small. Hazbin Hotel began as an independent animated pilot that Medrano released on YouTube in 2019, and it went on to pass 120 million views. That success led to a full series on Prime Video, produced by A24 and Bento Box Entertainment, with Medrano directing every episode.
The show follows Charlie, the princess of Hell, as she opens a hotel in hopes of rehabilitating demons so they can make it into Heaven instead of facing the angels' yearly extermination. Her partner Vaggie stays by her side, while the powerful Radio Demon, Alastor, offers his help for reasons of his own. Erika Henningsen voices Charlie, Stephanie Beatriz voices Vaggie, and Amir Talai voices Alastor.
The Characters And Their Gear
All three characters are sold as outfits in the Item Shop, with Vaggie listed under her full name, Vagatha. Alastor costs 1,800 V-Bucks, while Princess Charlie Morningstar and Vagatha are 1,500 V-Bucks each. The accessories pull straight from the show. Alastor's Staff costs 800 V-Bucks and Alastor's Radio costs 500 V-Bucks. KeeKee, Charlie's pet demon, comes as a 600 V-Bucks back bling, while Vaggie gets Vagatha's Spear and Vagatha's Wings. Charlie's Trident rounds out the pickaxes.
There are smaller nods for fans, too. Alastor's Smile Slippers cost 1,000 V-Bucks, the Hazbin Grin is 500 V-Bucks, and Alastor's Scheme is a 500 V-Bucks emote that sits next to A Happy Day in the set. The full Hazbin Hotel Bundle costs 4,000 V-Bucks, compared to an original price of 10,900 V-Bucks, and it includes the outfits, back blings, pickaxes, both emotes, and Alastor's Smile Slippers. Epic has not said how long the items will stay in the shop.
Two Songs From The Show Hit Fortnite Festival
Music is at the heart of Hazbin Hotel, and the collab leans into that with two Jam Tracks for Fortnite Festival. "Happy Day in Hell" and "Hell's Greatest Dad" both come from the show's first season. The set also has two instruments, Alastor's Ivories and Morningstar's Mic, for players who want Alastor or Charlie leading the band. The official Fortnite Festival account shared a first look at the tracks:
Hazbin Hotel shares the Halloween event with a long list of horror and pop culture crossovers. Epic's Fortnitemares 2026 lineup includes Five Nights at Freddy's, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Beetlejuice, Black Clover, Hollow Knight, The Purge, Slender Man, and Predator: Badlands, with Freddy Krueger waiting in a new Nightmare Neighborhood location on the map.
What Is Next For Hazbin Hotel
The second season premiered on Prime Video last fall, and the show is already planned out to its finish. Prime Video renewed Hazbin Hotel for a fifth and final season back in April, announcing it during the show's panel at LVL UP Expo. "I'm so thankful for how Prime Video has championed our vision at SpindleHorse, and I'm grateful for their partnership and commitment to bringing Hazbin Hotel to its epic conclusion," Medrano said in the announcement.
The third season still does not have a premiere date. Fans of Medrano's other series have something closer on the calendar, since the first half of the third season of Helluva Boss was set to premiere on Prime Video this fall.
Would you rather see more Hazbin Hotel characters like Angel Dust and Husk join Fortnite next, or is the Charlie, Alastor, and Vaggie trio the perfect lineup?
