One of the most influential cartoons and toylines of the 80s is He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. With such a unique premise and such an iconic catch phrase, He-Man and the heroes of Eternia have been a mainstay in the history of pop culture ever since cartoons hit the big time.
Over the years there have been many iterations and adaptions of the show, some more successful than others. One of the most recent spin-off that was a huge hit was the reinterpretation of She-Ra on her Netflix series. Now, there are not just one but two Netflix properties based on the hero that are coming soon! The first is an original anime created by Kevin Smith while the other is a full seires from Mattel Television that seeks to bring the Masters of the Universe to the forefront yet again.
This new series hopes to capture the same energy that the original one has but with even more to offer! With the show being in development for over 6 months, there have not been many updates; that is until story editor Bryan Miller took to Twitter to let fans know the status!
