Rick and Morty's sixth and incumbent season began last month on September 4th and has aired weekly since, resulting in six new episodes being out there for your viewing pleasure.

However, following the conclusion of the most recent episode, Adult Swim announced that Rick and Morty will be taking a break for a while.

The seventh episode of Season 6 is set to premiere on November 20th, which means that fans of the comedy science-fiction animated series will have to wait for almost six weeks for the show to return.

"Please use this time to expand your mind in preparation for the rest of the season," Adult Swim requests of Rick and Morty fans as part of the hiatus announcement. Additionally, this is a great time for those who haven't yet started the new season to catch up!

To tide viewers over until Season 6 returns near the end of next month, Adult Swim has released a 45-second long promo which shows off some of what to expect from the remaining episodes (via Adult Swim). "Don't worry, the chaos isn't over. Rick and Morty Season 6 returns on November 20th at 11pm on adult swim," reads the description.
