Video Games: Disney's FROZEN And PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN Worlds Revealed For KINGDOM HEARTS 3

A new trailer for Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts 3 gives us a glimpse of the wonderful world of Frozen, which will be featured in the upcoming game. We also get to see Pirates of the Caribbean.

Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts video game series has, for years, blended various Disney properties together into its narrative; but, since the release of Kingdom Hearts 2 in 2005, Disney has since acquired Pixar. Not to mention, Walt Disney Animation Studios has released a few computer-animated hits of their own. As a result, many of the wonderful properties from both studios will be featured in Kingdom Hearts 3.

At E3 this weekend, we got a glimpse at several Pixar and Walt Disney Animation films that will be in the game. The biggest reveal was a Frozen world featuring Elsa, Anna, Olaf and the rest of the gang. The trailer revealed gameplay in the snowy, frigid lands of Arendelle, which allows for some unique gameplay mechanics. Check out the trailer below:

In addition to Frozen, a second trailer released over the weekend revealed that Pirates of the Caribbean will be returning to the franchise. While not necessarily an animated film, it's exciting nonetheless. Like the Frozen world, the Pirates world will also offer unique gameplay mechanics specifically tailored to the high seas as well.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is set to release on PS4 and Xbox One on January 29, 2019.
