After such a long wait, The Incredibles 2 is finally hitting theatres and some viewers of early screenings have taken to social media to warn of the film's danger to sufferers of epilepsy.
According to these good samaritans, occasional moments during the film have a high chance of triggering seizures for viewers with epilepsy as well as those with other photosensitivity concerns, such as migraines or autism.
Veronica Lewis, a user of Twitter took it upon herself to post a lengthy thread of tweets which detail the dangerous usage of lighting effects - and later made a comprehensive blog post on the topic.

Another Twitter user also posted an extensive recount of the worrying scenes - check it out below:
The Epilepsy Foundation noted that around 2.2 million people in the US suffer from epilepsy - which makes it the fourth most common neurological problem.
Reviews of Incredibles 2 from both The Washington Post and Ars Technica noted that the film should have been prefaced with an epilepsy/seizure warning - and though it doesn't currently, some thoughtful theatres have taken it upon themselves to stick up a warning sign at the screening room's entrance.
So stay vigilant and be careful if you or anyone you know plan on seeing The Incredibles 2 now that it's finally hit theatres!
