More international promotional material for Warner Bros. and Legendary's upcoming, live-action Pokemon movie has surfaced online - following a new international poster which was released yesterday - this time it's an exciting Chinese TV Spot.

Similarly to the film's most recent full-blown trailer; this spot's action plays to the tune of Bonnie Tyler's epic song 'I Need a Hero'. A lot of the footage within the trailer also featured in the movie's latest trailer barring an introduction by Ryan Reynolds himself as well as an exciting moment at the very end.

Reynolds, of course, will be playing Detective Pikachu (providing both the voice and facial mo-cap). Within his opening preface, the star confirms that Detective Pikachu will in-fact have a theatrical release in China. The end of the spot also reveals Gyarados - a fan-favourite, water-type Pokemon. The fierce creature arrives within the Pokemon fight club, ready to battle Charizard.

Detective Pikachu is set to arrive in theatres on May 10th, 2019.
