Reign of the Supermen deals with the fallout of the catastrophic events of
The Death of Superman and sees four new "Supermen" attempt to take up the mantle of the one true man of steel. Both animated films are based on iconic comic book series of the same name and were directed by Sam Liu.
Now that they have both been released individually for some time, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released a limited edition combo pack which essentially combines both of the animated movies into one mega-movie (via
ComicBookMovie.com).
The Death and Return of Superman Complete Film Collection Gift Set will contain a 166-minute combined extended version of both
The Death of Superman and
Reign of the Supermen. Additionally, included is the
Superman: Doomsday animated movie on 4K Ultra HD. Purchasing a physical copy of the set will also entitle you to a Digital HD copy of the combo-pack.
For $39.99, you can pick up the 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and Digital HD combo-pack. Whereas the Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD combo-pack will only cost $29.99. Included with both is an exclusive Steel figurine — which you can check out below as well as an official trailer for the collection.
