In celebration of 35 years of My Little Pony, Hasbro recently released a couple of awesome movie posters and videos which parody 80's classics.
While the three posters give popular movies a MLP-makeover; a video which was released, via the official My Little Pony Instagram account, remixes the iconic intro-sequence to Full House. Both the title and lyrics have been altered to be more in-keeping with the magical pony-theme. So, without further adieu, check out the intro to "Foal House" below:
Now onto the posters. First we'll be taking a look at the Back to the Future parody poster which redubs the time-travelling comedy "Pink to the Future" and features Pinkie Pie in-place of Marty McFly and Doc Brown in the iconic 'checking watch' pose. The time-machine DeLorean has also been replaced by a fancy carriage - though the famous flame-trail is still intact. Check it out below:
Hasbro then went a little more adventurous by parodying Indiana Jones - the third film, titled The Last Crusade, to be specific. While Rainbow Dash is present, needing to be rescued; the spotlight is put on Daring Do - the animated show's explorer analog. Take a look:
The final poster gives Steven Spielberg's iconic family film E.T: The Extra Terrestrial a more sparkly aesthetic. One of the most memorable shots from the famous sci-fi flick is that of Elliot and E.T. flying their bicycle alongside the moon. This time, however, the silohuette is of Twilight Sparkle carrying Spike. Check it out:
