Disney+ will be launching in November and include essentially every movie and television show — be it animated or otherwise — which falls under the Disney banner. There will also be a bunch of content which Disney recently attained through its acquisition of 20th Century Fox.
Back in April, it was announced that
The Simpsons will exclusively be available to stream via the upcoming service. However, the CEO of Disney recently cautioned fans that they shouldn't expect
American Dad or
Family Guy to be included (via
Deadline). Bob Iger's answer to whether those shows will feature on Disney+ was a simple
"No."
Similar to
The Simpsons, they're both shows which hail from 20th Century Fox but they're adult-oriented. Interestingly, both
Family Guy and
American Dad are currently available to stream on Hulu — another streaming service which is owned by Disney. It's said that the company will soon hold a discussion to figure out which content fits each respective platform.
