With The Loud House Movie already out on Netflix, Nickelodeon's latest in series decisions, has announced the upcoming live-action Christmas special, A Loud House Christmas.
Wolfgang Schaeffer, who played as young Sheldon Mattson in Criminal Minds, is leading the charge as Lincoln while his sisters are portrayed by Knight Squad's Lexi DiBenedetto (Lori), American Housewife's Dora Dolphin (Leni), Game Shakers' Sophia Woodward (Luna), Harry Potter's Catherine Ashmore Bradley (Luan), Lovecraft Country's Morgan McGill (Lynn), younger sister to Catherine, Aubin Bradley (Lucy). On the young side, Young Sheldon's Mia Allan (Lana), Single Parents' Ella Allan (Lola) Ordinary Joe's Lexi Janicek (Lisa), and Charlotte Ann Tucker (Lily) also play some of the sisters. Meanwhile, Brian Stepanek, who plays Lynn Loud Sr. in The Loud House already and Muretta Moss of The Glorias fame will be portraying the patriarch and matriarch respectively.
Make It or Break It's Liz Maccie is penning the script while The Thundermans alum, Jonathan Judge, is taking on the directing role alongside executive producer. Series executive producer Michael Rubiner and Matt Bierman also serve as exec producers. Senior VP of Nickelodeon Movies, Darlene Caamaño Loquet, takes the role of the producer. Shauna Phelan and Zack Olin of Nickelodeon and Awesomeness Live-Action are overseeing production while Jessica Brown acts as Nickelodeon's exec of production.
The film follows the titular brother, Lincoln, as he readys up for the ultimate Christmas, only to find his sisters have other plans for the big day. This drives him to try and remind his family what Christmas is really about with his best friend, Clyde. A Loud House Christmas is going to air on Nickelodeon in November.
