Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino, the creators of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, are the heads of Avatar Studios; a studio that Paramount+ announced back in February that will develop new series and theatrical films within the realm of the Avatar intellectual property.
An Avatar: The Last Airbender fan-site (via AnimeMojo) recently discovered a job listing pertaining to Avatar Studios which reveals that the production company is creating a new animation style for its future projects. It's said that this style will make use of both two-dimensional and computer-generated elements.
The style sounds a lot like that of Netflix's animated series based on the League of Legends game, Arcane, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, as well as its upcoming sequel: Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) — which you can find out more about here.
The job listing, that you can see for yourself here, declares that applicants will have to work with, maintain and develop "an outstanding and customized look for the show that will require the integration of traditional 2D and CG elements." It sounds quite unlike previous content within the Avatar IP.
