Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution released in July 2019 exclusively in Japan. However, it has now finally made its way over to the West thanks to the Netflix streaming service. It's a 3D CG animated movie that's a remake of
Pokémon: The First Movie from 1998. It's an almost one-for-one recreation, featuring the exact same story, albeit with a few creative liberties.
Today is Pokémon Day! To commemorate this momentous occasion, Netflix has added
Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution. Suffice it to say, Netflix subscribers have really taken to the
Pokémon animated movie.
Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution sits in the sixth spot on Netflix's new Top 10 listing (which ranks the ten most-watched items of the past week).
The movie is rated PG and is an hour and thirty-seven minutes long. The cast includes Sarah Natochenny, Dan Green, and Bill Rogers.
