Disney and Lucasfilm have unveiled a trailer for LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy - Pieces of the Past, a four-part animated mini-series that will debut on Disney+ in September.

LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy - Pieces of the Past is a sequel to 2024's miniseries, LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, that saw the Star Wars universe flipped on its head and shuffled, rewriting the history and mixing up the characters, locations, and species, much to the joy and surprise of fans everywhere. In this continuation, we're introduced to a new threat, Solitus, a fallen Jedi who sought out access to Forcehold – a secret realm full of discarded pieces of the past.

With time quickly running out, Sig Greebling and Darth Dev must combine their powers to stop Solitus from completely dismantling the galaxy. Joined by Jedi Bob, Yesi Scala, and trusty droid Servo, they’ll dive into the farthest reaches of LEGO Star Wars lore, uncovering fragments from galaxies past.

LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy - Pieces of the Past will see the return of reimagined fan-favorites, like the Landolorian (voiced by Billy Dee Williams), who is seen introducing his young companion, Grogu, as well as some surprising newcomers. Alan Tudyk is reprising the role of K-2SO in the series, and Ben Schwartz (the voice of Sonic in the Sonic the Hedgehog films) will make his debut as Jaxxon.

“The name’s Jaxxon,” the Lepi says. “You probably haven’t heard of me because I’m a real deep cut.”

Unless you're a longtime fan of Star Wars, you may not have ever heard of Jaxxon. He's a lovablely weird rabbit-like alien, officially a Lepi, from the planet Coachelle Prime. He first debuted in issue #8 of 1977’s Marvel Star Wars comic series. The quirky, fast-talking smuggler exists mostly in the Legends, often deemed too silly for main Star Wars canon. For LEGO though, he's the perfect amount of unexpected fun.

Much of the original cast returns to reprise their roles, including Gaten Matarazzo as Sig Greebling, Tony Revolori as Dev Greebling, Bobby Moynihan as Jedi Bob, Marsai Martin as Yesi, Michael Cusack as Servo, Ahmed Best as Darth Jar Jar, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, Sam Witwer as Maul, Helen Sadler as Darth Rey, Phil LaMarr as Darth Kit Fisto, Matthew Wood as General Grievous, Jake Green as Greedo, Shelby Young as Princess Leia, Piotr Michael as Yoda, Matt Sloan as Jedi Vader, Trevor Devall as Jedi Master Sheev, Dee Bradley Baker as Darth Nubs, Naomi Ackie as Jedi Jannah, Kevin Michael Richardson as Jedi Jabba the Hutt, and Kelly Marie Tran as Darth Rose Tico. Legendary Star Wars actor Mark Hamill will also have a guest appearance.

They are joined by series newcomers Jennifer Hale as probe droid Viper, Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano, Catherine Taber as Pirate Queen Amidala, and Cameron Monaghan as Cal Kestis. There are also a few new characters not yet seen in the poster or trailer, such as Nika Futterman as Asajj Ventress, Andre Sogliuzzo as Cassian Andor, James Arnold Taylor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Brian George as Ki-Adi-Mundi.

Written and executive produced by Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit, and directed by Chris Buckley, LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past will premiere on Disney+ on September 19, 2025.
