Netflix released its animated reimagining of the classic Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? PBS game show in January 2019 and the Top Draw Animation production has been a surprise hit for the streaming platform. Following a 9-episode first season, the show's second season debuted in October 2019 for an additional 10 episodes. An interactive movie titled Carmen Sandiego: To Steal or Not to Steal was also released in March 2020.
Now, a new trailer has revealed that a third season is set to premiere on October 1, 2020. Check out the trailer below.
The third season will continue Carmen's quest to thwart V.I.L.E. (Villains' International League of Evil) while also learn more about A.C.M.E.'s (Agency to Classify & Monitor Evildoers) role in the death of her father and the disappearance of her mother.
The series is meant to serve as a prequel of sorts as it follows Carmen Sandiego during her teenage years. Gina Rodriguez leads the voice cast that also includes Stranger Things' Finn Wolfhard as Player and Dawnn Lewis as The Chief. There's also a live-action Carmen Sandiego film in development at Netflix with Rodriguez set to star.

We will follow her escapades and get to determine not only where but WHO in the world is Carmen Sandiego? Season 3 arrives on Netflix on October 1.
