Netflix is no stranger to anthology series or animation, for that matter. With the former, the streamer is well known for their ever-popular Black Mirror, now five seasons and an interactive feature in. In the latter case, Netflix continues to provide original animated content in the form of Kipo and the Age of the Wonderbeasts, Jurassic Park: Camp Cretaceous, Fast and Furious: Spy Racers, Tales of Arcadia, Bojack Horseman, Tuca and Bertie, and countless more.
Finding success in both of those mediums makes it completely understandable that the streaming service would want to attempt to combine the two. They did just that with Love, Death, + Robots, and fans loved it so much that a second volume isn't simply on the way but due out this week.
To hype up the new stories told in the upcoming anthology, a brand new Red Band trailer has been released for the series, giving fans an idea of what to look forward to. Netflix released the video on Youtube, reminding fans that there are only a few more days between them and Love, Death, + Robots Volume 2.
From wild adventures on far-flung planets to unsettling encounters close to home: The Emmy-winning anthology returns with a crop of provocative tales. Do you realize what you’re doing is illegal? The adult animated anthology returns with a vengeance. Love, Death + Robots Volume 2 coming May 14. Consume Irresponsibly.
