Season 4 of Big Mouth is now streaming on Netflix. The kids are headed to camp this summer and all their emotional baggage is coming with them.
This time around, however, a new monster will pop up. Well, technically it's the Anxiety Mosquito, but it's the same concept as the Hormone Monster. It's a manifestation of the kids' inner emotions. In this case, it's anxiety. In Season 2, it was the Shame Wizard. In Season 4, it's Tito the Anxiety Mosquito.
We've got a lot of catching up to do since last season, which ended with multiple relationships in flux. Andrew ended his friendship with Nick, while Nick broke up with Missy. Jessi and Shannon moved to New York. And, well, all of this comes to a head in Season 4.
As per usual, there are some big emotions in play. As an adult animated comedy and a coming-of-age series, we can probably expect the season to also continue to explore puberty as the kids come to terms with their own bodies.
All ten episodes of Big Mouth are now available to stream on Netflix. In 2019, the animated series was renewed for three additional seasons, which will take it through a total of six seasons. So there's definitely some more to come after this.
