Eight years since we last saw Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and the gang, they're back in this brand new teaser trailer. Releasing alongside a teaser poster, this is our first official look at Toy Story 4.
The trailer doesn't provide us with any inkling of plot, it just lets us know that the core group of characters are returning, however the film's synopsis was attached - and it's clear that this is quite the departure from the planned story involving the search for Bo Peep - it reads as such:
Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.
With the introduction of Forky, who is voiced by Tony Hale (Arrested Development); it seems as if the fourth instalment in this beloved franchise will finally explore just what it is that's bringing the main characters to life.
