The Sonic The Hedgehog movie's interesting redesign for the titular speedster was teased last week with two official posters. Needless to say, the toned and furry appearance didn't garner the reception that you'd think Paramount would have hoped.

However, the studio recently opened up an official Twitter account for the film in which they join in poking fun at the posters. The verified account (@SonicMovie) has not only retweeted a bunch of amusing pictures which lambast the muscular design, but also uploaded one of their own.

The pic features an even more muscular-legged Sonic holding aloft a sign which reads "Can't a guy workout? Be back next year. <3 Sonic." While we get a new look at Sonic's new running shoes, the legs are evidently not a part of the actual design - we hope.

Check out the tweet below:

What do you think of the tweet? Are you looking forward to the Sonic The Hedgehog movie?

Sonic The Hedgehog is set to speed into theatres on November 9th, 2019.
