Sonic Forces is a platform game developed by Sonic Team and published by SEGA that released back in November 2017 — for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. As well as consoles and PC, it's also available on iOS devices.
Based on a new and seemingly legitimate leak, it seems that this
Sonic the Hedgehog video game will be free for PlayStation Plus subscribers in March. If you're unfamiliar, each and every month players who are subscribed to PlayStation Plus are gifted a pair of free games. For example, both
The Sims 4 and
BioShock: The Collection are currently available for free.
It seems that both
Sonic Forces and
Shadow of the Colossus will be free next month. This is going off of an image that has been reported on by various sites (via
Gamefragger) and originated on the
/r/PS4 subreddit. The image is of a Polish website that features an advertisement for next month's PlayStation Plus games.
It seems the promotional image has been placed on the site earlier than it should have been. However, while many seem on-board with this selection of games, it's worth remembering that these type of things can always turn out to be illegitimate. Should it turn out to be accurate, we'll let you know — so stay tuned!
