Detective Pikachu is nearing the end of its theatrical run. It served as the very first live-action film in the long-running
Pokemon franchise. While the visuals were certainly the film's most major draw, who could forget its soundtrack?
Detective Pikachu's score was put together by Henry Jackman who previously worked on
X-Men First Class,
Kick-Ass,
Captain Phillips, and many more films. Along with the score, the soundtrack also includes several songs from the likes of Skrillex, The Honest Boyz, and Glen Crytzer. Additionally, it will feature a rendition of the
Pokemon theme song "Gotta Catch 'Em All," as performed by Ryan Reynolds.
A recent tweet by Serebii (
@SerebiiNet) has revealed that said soundtrack will be released on vinyl in a month's time, specifically on July 26th 2019. Only a limited number of copies will be produced, so if you're interested it's best to act fast.
The vinyl record itself will be white and feature a picture of
Detective Pikachu on it. It'll also include a movie poster, a 4-page booklet, and exclusive postcard.
