All episodes of Disney's new original series Monsters at Work are currently streaming via Disney+ and today we get an exclusive look at the season finale thanks to a new video clip (included below).
Monsters at Work picks up right where Monsters, Inc. left off, with the power plant harvesting children's laughter to fuel the city of Monstropolis, thanks to Mike and Sulley's discovery that laughter generates ten times more energy than children's screams. It follows Tylor Tuskmon, an eager monster who graduated at the top of his class at Monsters University and has always dreamed of becoming a Scarer. Upon landing his dream job he discovers that scaring is out and laughter is in. After being reassigned to Monsters, Inc. Facilities Team (MIFT), Tylor must work alongside a misfit bunch of mechanics while setting his sights on his new dream job - becoming a Jokester.
Produced by Disney Television Animation and inspired by the world of Disney and Pixar's Academy Award-winning Monsters, Inc., the series introduces new monster characters alongside returning favorites. Billy Crystal and John Goodman reprise their beloved roles as Mike Wazowski and James P. "Sulley" Sullivan. Ben Feldman stars as the voice of Tylor Tuskmon, alongside other new cast members including Mindy Kaling as Val Little, Henry Winkler as Fritz, Lucas Neff as Duncan and Alanna Ubach as Cutter.
In the season finale, Episdoe 110 "It's Laughter They're After", Tylor achives his dream and is pormoted to Jokester, but he's torn between his new promotion and leaving MIFT. Meanwhile, Laugh Power is threatened when Mike and Sulley are given an ultimatum: generate more power, or be shut down.
