These past few months have seen the world improvise, overcome, and adapt in the most creative and unique ways; however, none ave adapted more so than the entertainment industry. Since the medium requires so much interaction, there have been rises in animated content and at home streaming of recent movie releases.
Since Disney is one of if not the biggest entertainment giant in the world, companies have looked to them to see how they have been faring during the pandemic. Sadly, things have been difficult for even them nad their latest decision has proven to be not only wildly unique but also unprecedented.
Before its first birthday, the decision has been made to have its streaming service, Disney+ be the tentpole brand for all content and media distribution. Heading this new streamlining decision is company veteran Kareem Daniel. This could mean a lot more content coming to the company's streaming services and maybe even more releases meant for a theatrical premiere.
Will this be the new normal? It seems that it will, at least for now. We would love to hear your thoughts on the decision in the comments below!
