Warner Bros. is going back into the past to give a popular cartoon of old the chance to grab the attention of modern children. The cartoon in question is Looney Tunes, and from what we’ve gathered, Warner is making moves to show it off very soon.

If you’re planning to enter the Annecy International Animation Festival on Monday, you could get the chance to see the full sketch in action. Not only that, but the animators plan on discussing the process of creating the episode.

From what we can tell from the first photo, it's clear that the idea is to go with a similar design to the original. Nothing in the picture looks modern, therefore, folks should be having no problems.

We like what we're seeing with the photo because it appears as if the creators have decided to continue where the old cartoons left off.

Here we get to see Elmer Fudd making an attempt to smite Bugs Bunny, but as usual, he always fails at his mission. Furthermore, the picture has a vintage feel, so even though this is a modern take on the old Looney Tunes, most wouldn’t realize this at first glance.

True modernization will only come where the dialogue is concerned, but everything else is pinned in the past and that’s perfect.
