If you want the first details on Voltron season 7 then San Diego Comic-Con 2018 is the place to be.  As Nerdist has confirmed, the first episode of season 7 will be screened for lucky audience members.  It's also anticipated that a premiere date for season 7 will also be announced.

A panel will be hosted by Nerdist's  Kyle Anderson and will feature showrunners Joaquim Dos Santos and Lauren Montgomery, voice actors Rhys Darby (voice of Coran), Bex Taylor-Klaus (voice of Pidge), and Jeremy Shada (voice of Lance).

Where do you think the show will head in its seventh season.  It's 52 episodes in and the conflict between Team Voltron and the Galra Empire has taken more twists and turns than a Spanish soap opera.
