The Lovable And Cute Ghost Type Pokemon Misdreavus Now Has A Shiny Variant In POKEMON GO

Niantic's Pokemon Go introduced the concept of shiny Pokemon to the masses if they didn't know about it already. This month, another lovable creature joins the ranks of those who can be caught special.

A tweet was sent out showing a new shiny Pokemon to join Niantic's mobile game, Pokemon Go. Trainers are already busy trying to capture as many Shiny Pokemon as they can during the Community Weekend Event for December, taking advantage of the increased shiny spawn chances.

Ghost Type Pokemon have been hugely popular dating all the way back to Generation 1 with Gengar who had a day all of his own last month, gaining spotlight just as well. Now it's time for Misdreavus to take over, as well as his evolutionary counterpart, Mismagia. Both of the species are now able to be captured as a shiny, and you can see the original tweet below.

Misdreavus isn't the first and won't be the last variation to Pokemon. In addition to the shiny versions, there is also a Squirtle with sunglasses and countless variations of Pikachu from different events. Pokemon Go has always done well to keep the Trainers coming back, even if it's something as small as an extra available Pokemon, it's still something that gives Trainers more goals to set out after while completing field research.

Above is the trailer for Pokemon Go if you somehow haven't familiarized yourself with it yet, and it is available now for mobile. Let us know below if you'll be capturing a Misdreavus of your own!
