The 16-Bit video game versions of
Aladdin and
The Lion King will be getting a re-release for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One — as revealed by some information that has made its way online.
The information was first reported by Twitter user
@wolverinefactor, who revealed that
Aladdin and
The Lion King HD remasters had been announced today during GameStop Con, and that pre-orders for both of these titles will begin tomorrow.
It was also revealed that
Aladdin and
The Lion King will feature the same soundtrack from their Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo counterparts — which, by the way, were very faithful to the music in both animated movies.
Thanks to the people over at GameXplain, we now have confirmation that both
Aladdin and
The Lion King will be bundled together and are expected to release at a yet-to-be-determined date in October.
