Fans of Dan Harmon
(Community) and Justin Roiland's
(Solar Opposites) Adult Swim science fiction series
Rick and Morty have been growing more and more impatient as time has gone on. While the creators previously announced that there would be shorter wait times between seasons -
Season 4 of the hit show only premiered five episodes before taking a break.
With the previous seasons of
Rick and Morty each containing ten episodes it is likely there are only five more to come in
Season 4 but unfortunately there have been no clues as to when the remaining episodes will be released. Fans thought that there may be a reveal as to the return date during the Super Bowl as a
Rick and Morty Pringles ad launched during that time. They were disappointed to realized that they were met with no answer still.
Now, despite there still being no word on the season's return - the official twitter account of
Rick and Morty has released a new clip that will hopefully go at least part way to serve as a hold over for fans until the episodes return. The clip below, titled
Rick's Game, sees a strange and different animation style to the normal series aesthetic. Take a look for yourself and see what you make of it.
What do you guys think of this newly released clip? Is it enough to lessen the blow that
Rick and Morty Season 4 still hasn't returned? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
