Prepare yourselves, Trainers, because it's going to be a busy month. Niantic has updated their Research Breakthrough Encounters and players will now be encountering different Legendaries than before.

Lugia, Ho-Oh, Latias, and Latios are the current Pokémon available through research. Since there are only four, it should be easier for Trainers to get which ones they need and hopefully aren't disappointed with the same one over and over again (here's looking at you, Entei) while trying for someone specific.

In addition, players can also capture Shiny Seel and Shiny Dewgong now. The fastest way to go about it is to find the Research Task "Catch Five Water Pokémon" as there is a higher chance of a Shiny Seel appearing as your reward encounter for that research than by searching in the wild.

So, are you looking more forward to capturing one of these Legendaries or the newly released Shiny Seel? Let us know below!
