But with so many having cut the cable cord over the years, is there any other way to watch Frosty the Snowman this year? Despite the numerous streaming services we now have, Frosty the Snowman is not available on any of the popular subscription streaming services like Netflix or Hulu.
However, if you are truly in need of some holiday magic, it is available on VOD platforms for sale or rent. It's currently available for purchase on Vudu, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube for $9.99.
Frosty the Snowman first aired on December 7, 1969. Based on the popular holiday song of the same name, from Walter E. Rollins and Steve Nelson, the special follows a group of children who build a snowman and place a magician's hat on his head, making him come to life. But as the weather starts to warm, the children attempt to guide frosty back to the North Pole before he melts.
