Family Guy has been consistently outspoken on various controversial topics, especially as of late, so it comes as no surprise that their next target is, the President himself, Donald Trump.
Apparently, at some point during the upcoming seventeenth season of the reverent animated comedy, the Griffin's will leave their typical place of residence in Quahog and pay a visit to Washington D.C. - as Peter is hired to be the President's new Communications Director, due to his aptitude at deciphering "fake news". But when Meg has an "unpleasant encounter" with Trump, an epic battle ensues between the head of the Griffin household and the head of the United States.
Here's what showrunners Rich Appel and Alec Sulkin told Entertainment Weekly about the upcoming episode; "Although this episode was written almost a year ago, fortunately Trump has done nothing since then to embarrass himself or our nation."
The episode itself was announced during the show's San Diego Comic-Con panel along with many other revelations such as: Quahog's local high school, which has been named James Woods High for the entirety of the show up to now, will be renamed Adam West High - in honor of late Batman actor, and Mayor on Family Guy, Adam West.
What do you think about Family Guy tackling the topic of Donald Trump and his catchphrase "fake news"?
