If a new report is to be believed, classic video game buffs are in for a delightful surprise. The reports so far have not been confirmed, though Buzzfeed and several other outlets have shared details on two new animated series.
In 2022 avid Playstation fanatics will be greeted with animated adaptations of two extremely popular titles from the '90s. The games in question are none other than Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon.
Word has it that Apple TV+ is so confident about The Adventures of Crash Bandicoot, an animated kids’ comedy about Crash and the gang, that two seasons have already been greenlit. The show sees Invader Zim and Catdog alumni Peter Hannan and Monique Beatty as producers.
While the shows are reported for 2022, it seems that we could see the first season of The Adventures of Crash Bandicoot released in September 2021. Meanwhile, a half-hour series entitled Spyro the Dragon's Guide to Treasure Hunting is also set to hit the Apple streamer next year, if these reports are to be believed.
