BOJACK HORSEMAN Renewed For A Sixth Season By Netflix

Netflix has officially renewed BOJACK HORSEMAN for a sixth season, after the fifth season of the animated comedy series debuted on September 14th.

Netflix’s popular animated comedy series BoJack Horseman, which was created by Raphael Bob-Waksberg and designed by Lisa Hanawalt, was renewed for a sixth season. News of the show's renewal was first announced on BoJack Horseman’s official Twitter account. Here's the tweet which confirms the announcement:

BoJack Horseman follows an alcoholic horse, who is a washed-up 90s actor from the family sitcom Horsin’ Around. After his acting career peaked in the 90s, BoJack has since become miserable and bitter coming down from a life of fame. With the help of his human friend Todd and his agent Princess Carolyn, BoJack is ready for his return to showbiz.  

 

The voice cast for the Emmy-award nominated series includes Will Arnett as BoJack Horseman, Aaron Paul as BoJack’s human friend Todd Chavez, Alison Brie as Diane Nguyen, Paul F. Tompkins as Mr. Peanutbutter, and Amy Sedaris as the pink Persian cat Princess Carolyn.    

 

The fifth season, which premiered on Netflix on September 14th, has been met with critical success, landing a 100% fresh score on the review-aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes.     

 

BoJack Horseman’s animation is created by ShadowMachine. The series is produced by The Tornante Company and is executive produced by Bob-Waksberg, Steven A. Cohen, Noel Bright, Will Arnett, and Aaron Paul.
