An animated series that ran from 2003 to 2005,
Sonic X hails from Japan and is an adaptation of the similarly titled video game series whilst being for younger viewers.
The series follows Sonic and his friends as they find themselves teleported into the human world. With the help of a young boy named Chris, they must prevent Dr. Eggman from getting his hands on the Chaos Emeralds and taking over the world.
As was reported a couple of weeks back;
Sonic X is now available to stream on Netflix in the United States, Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Jason Griffith, the voice of the titular speedster in the animated series, took to Twitter to announce the news — as you can see below (via
Gamefragger).
Other
Sonic the Hedgehog content available on the streaming service would be
The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog from 1993 and
Sonic Boom! from 2014. Unfortunately, those two series aren't available to stream outside of the United States.
