Ubisoft announced earlier in the day, during their presentation for this year's E3, that Brawlhalla — Blue Mammoth Games' free-to-play fighting/party game — was going to be getting some new fighters from Cartoon Network's acclaimed Adventure Time series.

As per the announcement trailer, we found out that Adventure Time's Finn, Jake the Dog, and Princess Bubblegum were added to Brawlhalla today, and players will get it via a completely free of charge update. This update is also bringing a new Buddy Game Mode and the Adventure Time Tree Fort as one of the new stages for the game.

Although Adventure Time saw its final season being released last year, it is nice to see that these characters are still getting all the love they deserve — especially in a game like Brawlhalla, which has an evergrowing fanbase of over 25 million players worldwide.

Check it out:

An eternal battle arena where the greatest warriors in history brawl to prove who’s the best that ever was, is, or will be. Every match is an epic test of skill, speed, and strength, and every victory brings additional glory and bragging rights to the winners.

Brawlhalla is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Windows, and macOS.
