Fans of Rick and Morty know that the titular Rick Sanchez and alcohol go hand-in-hand. At one point in the series, he tells Morty that he's got the "hardest working liver in the galaxy." Well, the folks at Drink Company think there's some money to be made there. According to SYFY Wire, the pop-culture/food service gurus have set up a Rick and Morty themed pop-up bar in Washington DC. The temporary establishment is called WubbaLubbaDubPUB, and fans of the Dan Harmon series will want to check it out. Provided, of course, that they live in the area.
The pop-up bar will be a veritable paradise for Rick and Morty lovers. Different areas of the bar will look like settings fans are used to from the show, such as Rick's garage, Anatomy Park, and Rick's spaceship. The drinks, of course, also come straight from the universe of the show, with clever names like "Get Shwifty," "Morty's Mind Blowers," and "Existence is Pain." No, I'm not making that last one up.
And the R&M world doesn't end there! Patrons will be able to karaoke for the giant heads of Cygnus-5 (remember the 'American Idol' episode?). They'll be able to hang out with some Meeseeks. And finally, if you dress as Rick himself, you get taken into the bar through a special, ultimate-fan-experience entrance. As you can see, heading to this bar is pretty much just heading into the R&M universe! Except you'll probably live through the bar.
WubbaLubbaDubPUB is open from now until October 6th, so hurry up and get there! And if you do, why don't you let us know about it in the comments? For more Rick and Morty, and for all your animation news, stay tooned to Toondado.
