While fans were quick to make comparisons to
Teen Titans Go! when the first footage from
ThunderCats Roar was released, the series actually has very little in common with that show, aside from being a lighthearted reimagining of a more serious property. In reality, the slapstick and animation style of
ThunderCats Roar appears to be more in line with
OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes. As more information about the series is released in the coming weeks, it will be interesting to see whether the same overseas animation studio that worked on
OK K.O.! also worked on this show.
ThunderCats Roar will officially premiere on Cartoon Network later this month on February 22. However, the two-part premiere is available to watch right now,
