Tuca & Bertie debuted back in 2019 on Netflix and was canceled after just one season. After many expressed interest in the show's continuation, however, Adult Swim picked it up for a second season, which debuted back in June. A third season was promptly confirmed in August and fans of the adult animated series have laid in waiting ever since.

Well, series creator Lisa Hanawalt recently returned to social media, Twitter to be specific, in order to tease that the long-awaited third season will be hitting the silver screen sometime soon.

In response to a fan's tweet, Hanawalt said "I reactivated my twitter... that MUST mean more Tuca & Bertie is coming soon..." along with the 'pair of eyes' emoji which essentially means to stay alert. Hanawalt also updated the bio on their profile as such: "Tuca & Bertie seasons 2 + 3 coming to Adult Swim and HBO Max this Summer."

You can check out the tweet in question for yourself below (via @lisadraws). Summer is fast approaching, so fans wont have to wait much longer to see Tuca and Bertie on their TV screens again. And, if you haven't already seen the acclaimed animated sitcom, now is as good a time as any to hop onboard the bandwagon before the arrival of Season 3.
