Fans were excited to learn that Invincible comic book publisher Skybound was planning on making a AAA video game based on the award-winning comic from Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley.
However, they grew even more excited when the site listed the news that the Prime Video animated show had been renewed for seasons 4 and 5. The listing has now been changed but not before screenshots began circulating social media (see below).
Prior to the inadvertent leak, the show was only renewed for season 3, which is currently in development. The last update on season 3 came from Robert Kirkman, who confirmed that the voice recording for season 3 was complete and that fans would not have to wait as long for the next batch of episodes.
Given how popular the show is, we're guessing that Prime Video and Skybound are likely waiting to make a more formal announcement so stay tuned for future updates.
Also recently, Invincible's official X (formerly known as Twitter) account confirmed that Battle Beast and Titan will be back for season 3. Previously, Titan was voiced by (Mahershala Ali while Battle Beast was portrayed by Michael Dorn.
If you've read the comics then you already know that both characters play a pivotal role in the continued evolution of Steven Yeun's Mark Grayson, both mentally and physically.
