According to a new report, the tie-in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem animated series will arrive on Paramount+ in Q3 2024, meaning the continuation from the critically-acclaimed series will arrive sometime between July-September.

The  Jeff Rowe directed pic was released in North American theaters on August 2, 2023, and grossed $180.5 million worldwide from a production budget of $70 million. The film earned $118.6 million in North America while top international territories included the United Kingdom ($12.85 M), Australia ($7.1 M), and France ($4.9 M).

Mutant Mayhem achieved a 96% approval rating on the Rotten Tomatoes review aggregate website, with an average rating of 7.6 out of 10.  However, that didn't necessarily translate into a huge box office windfall for the film.   Mutant Mayhem was unfortunately caught up in the Barbie hurricane, as the Margot Robbie film was still dominating the box office well after its July 21 release.

Still, Paramount is moving forward with ambitious plans for the Mutant Mayhem franchise with a tie-in animated series set to bridge the gap between the first film and its sequel.

According to the https://toyworldmag.co.uk/ website, an article detailing the release of the Mutant Mayhem toyline also revealed that the television series would be arriving on Paramount+ in Q3 2024.

BleedingCool managed to grab a screenshot of the article before it was removed.

The official logo for the series was revealed last fall, revealing the series will be titled Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Per Variety, the animated series is slated for a two-season run before the sequel film is released in theaters.

The animates series takes its name from a 1987 anthology comic book series from Mirage Studios which saw the creation of iconic characters such as Rat King, Leatherhead and Nobody.

The series was famous for opening with a big splash page that focused on the main character of the issue, who would then began recounting an adventure with the line, "Let me tell you a story..."
