Madeleine McGraw, the actress who played the young version of Evangeline Lilly's character Hope (aka Wasp) in Disney/Marvel's
Ant-Man and the Wasp, has been revealed as the voice of Bonnie in Disney/Pixar's
Toy Story 4. Fresh off
this week's official trailer for the highly anticipated movie, Deadline reported the casting.
Bonnie was first introduced to audiences in 2010's
Toy Story 3 in a plot that involved a passing of the toys on to a new owner. It's unclear how big of a speaking role Bonnie will have in the new movie, but the character figures to play a prominent role in the plot as she is ultimately responsible for creating Forky, a plastic spork turned into a "toy."
As the trailer revealed, Sporky has a bit of an existentialist crisis and runs off which kicks off an adventure with Woody, Buzz and the rest of the gang.
Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.
Madeleine McGraw joins an impressive cast that includes Tom Hanks (Woody), Tim Allen (Buzz Lightyear), Keegan-Michael Key (Ducky), Annie Potts (Bo Peep), Jordan Peele (Bunny), and more.
Toy Story 4 arrives in theaters on June 21.
